Cheltenham Town Women will be looking to build on last week’s positive draw as they travel to Watford on Sunday (2:00pm kick-off).
Tom Davies’ side make the trip to Grosvenor Vale in Wealdstone after a well-earned point against Hashtag United last Sunday. After a freak own goal from a corner gave the Tags the lead before the break, Doris Greenwood acquired her first Robinesses goal after a great cross in from Henna Butcher.
Watford have started the Women’s National League Southern Premier season fairly well after relegation from the second-tier last term. They are currently along with Cheltenham, on 7 points in 5th, three points off the quartet of leaders at the top, Ipswich Town, Exeter City, Hashtag United and Oxford United.
This marks a busy week for Cheltenham, as after the visit to Renee Hector’s side, the Robinesses welcome Gwalia United to Kayte Lane on Thursday September 26th, and visit Boldmere St Michael’s in the WNL Plate on Sunday September 29th.
The game is being played at Grosvenor Vale, Wealdstone, postcode HA4 6JQ.
Tickets are £7 for adults, and £4 for Over 65s and Under 18s. Tickets can be bought in advance by clicking here.
For supporters unable to attend, live-action updates will be provided on the Club’s X Account (formerly Twitter) as well as on Instagram.
